BART Train Caricatures

Here are some little caricatures I did today on the BART traing to San Francisco. I was keeping Steven Silver in mind, and really going for shape and exaggeration of features. They still look too life-like to me, but I'm working on it. I'm happy with these, for now :-)

ICWing says 'my pen is too big...my PEN is TOO BIG!' Bah.

New Horsey Bits

Here are some sketches of one of my horses from the Almaden Equestrian Center. Her name is "Roxy" and she's a thoroughbred, former jumper, barrel racer, and true-blue racehorse. The bottom left most exemplifies what she really looks like...very long, lithe, and tall.

Sketches from the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco

Here's today's "bounty." ICWing and I went up to the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco, for the 40th anniversary (free!)...and to see and draw some awesome stuff. Fresh off of "The Widow Ching," this was a great experience, plus I had never been. With much excitement and awe, we toured around the various "parts of asia," taking it all in, and making a few little paintings here and there. I am happy with these relaxed little drawings, these little watercolors, and so I share them with you :-). Enjoy!

Heads on the Wall...

Here are some of the drawings of bighorns I did during my short stay in Wyoming.
